Viewing and navigating
The "3d-pointer" is renamed to "tripod", and the "2d-pointer" to
"picker".
bug fixes:
- the tripod now stays the same size on any zoom level
- unhiding objects and faces was not working sometimes
- V>default view, F>new scene, or
loading a scene now always correctly reset the view and pointer
position
- tilt-view now works smooth even with very large scenes

preferences)

Selecting
bug fixes:
- invisible elements behind the camera were selectable; this
made modeling from inside objects impossible

- the lasso tools now work with object selection also
- spline handles can now be selected in edge selection-mode

Transforming
bug fixes:
- mirrored and merged objects got black sometimes

improvements and new features:
- tool for easier repeated extrude added: rep. extr.
- reference CS management completely redesigned; it now
resembles 3ds Max:
The ref. CS tool sets the coordinate system used for
displaying and typing coordinates, and orients the tripod
accordingly. The ref. pos. sets the tripod position,
i.e., the transform center for rotating and scaling, and the
snap position for moving.
The following commands are available when ref. CS is
active:
- selection (only for vertex-, edge- and
face-selections): the the y-axis of the CS is aligned with the
average normal of the affected faces
- object: use the CS of the active object
- each (only for objects): for every selected object,
its own CS is used
- parent (only for objects): use the CS of the "common"
parent of the selection (or the world CS if there's none)
- world: the world CS is used
The following commands are available when ref. pos.
is active:
- active (only for vertex-, edge- and face-selections):
the center of the active (last selected) face, edge, or vertex
is used
- selection: the center of the selection is used
(for objects the pivots are averaged)
- center (only for objects): the center of the
respective vertices is used
- object: use the CS origin of the active object
- each (only for objects): for every selected object,
its own CS origin is used
- parent (only for objects): use the CS origin of the
"common" parent of the selection (or the world CS if there's
none)
These settings are remembered and applied at each subsequent
selection.
If ref. CS is set to each, ref. pos.
also becomes each, but not the other way round.
After moving the tripod with the ref. CS tool active, if
the view is tapped, the reference CS and the tripod stay at the
respective position and orientation, if the ref. pos.
tool is activated, the tripod is reset to the position where it
was before invoking ref. CS, but retains the ref. CS
orientation. While this sounds complicated, trying it out will
show it is convenient this way.
- command to set the CS of objects (the "pivot") added: set
obj. CS (available when ref. CS or
ref. pos. is active) sets the CS of the selected objects
to the tripod
- the status bar now displays the rotation and scale, the scale
is typed as %
Color picker
bug fixes:
- no more duplicates in recent colors
Textures
bug fixes:
- several issues with the UV tools; also, UVs can now be moved
with two fingers directly after selecting
Organizing, multiplying and arraying objects
bug fixes:
- copy / inst. repeat defaults to 1 now
Preferences
improvements and new features:
- the preferences now can be accessed via a "rim" like the scene
explorer
- individual line size settings for tripod, picker, ...
- option to hide the Android status bar
- values can now be typed by tapping the figures
